007 First Light walkthrough: How to finish A Matter of Considerable Delicacy (chapter 7)

A Matter of Considerable Delicacy is the seventh chapter of 007 First Light. The mission starts after completing A Night Out (chapter 6), and this segment is mostly a preparation, where you will get information about the next mission, along with a report to Q on new gadgets. Also, you access the TacSim section, where you can complete several challenges in the title. In the end, Moneypenny will brief you on the next objectives.

Report to Q

When the first cutscene ends, you need to reach Q’s location first. Exit through the door and head right to find Monroe. Follow him to the lift and navigate to the Q lab.

From Monroe’s and Cressida’s location, you can see the Wardrobe sign on the right. Proceed there and enter the location to find Q. After the cutscene ends, follow him to the gadget testing area.

Test new gadgets

Then, speak with Q, and then pick up the Shockwave Camera from the table. Now, open your gadget menu and use the item to deploy a shockwave at Arthur standing ahead.

Afterward, go to the next table and pick up the Smoke Pod gadget. Like before, open your gadget menu and use the smoke grenade on Arthur.

Next, head towards Bridget and interact with the Gadget Cart. You can then choose your preferred gadgets. However, you can select only two at this point, excluding the Q-Watch. I opted for the Shockwave Camera and the Dart Phone this time. When done, exit the menu to advance.

Note: While you’re at the Q lab, you can speak to Selina and access the TacSim section. You can complete plenty of challenges and earn rewards.

Go to Operations

Navigate to the lift next and head to Operations. Continue forward to the other side, open the door to get inside, and trigger a cutscene. Lastly, speak with Moneypenny and select “Exit to mission” to learn about your next objective, where you can potentially encounter 009.
