
It’s the most wonderful time of the year as college football’s postseason kicks off in earnest this evening with 34 bowls and 11 College Football Playoff games scheduled over the next for the next 34 days, culminating with the national championship on Jan. 19.
With that, we’ve put together a four-part preview that will show every uniform matchup, jersey patch and field design that will be used the postseason. We’ll continue to update the list as teams reveal their wardrobes in the days leading up to their respective games.
Parts two and three will be posted ahead of the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, while the final piece of our postseason preview will highlight the previous meetings and championship game appearances of the title game opponents.
Bowl Games
Dec. 13
Bucked Up LA Bowl
Washington 38, Boise State 10
The Huskies wore their standard home uniforms of gold helmets, purple jerseys and gold pants against the Broncos, who wore blue helmets with white jerseys and pants in Inglewood.
Dec. 16
IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl
Jacksonville State vs Troy
9 p.m. ET on ESPN
The Gamecocks will wear their standard red helmets, red jerseys and white pants against the Trojans, who will be outfitted in white helmets with an American flag motif in their script decals, white jerseys and white or cardinal pants.
Dec. 17
StaffDNA Cure Bowl
ODU vs USF
5 p.m. ET on ESPN
The Bulls will wear their standard gold helmets with their green home jerseys and pants, while the Monarchs have not yet revealed their uniform combination ahead of Wednesday’s game in Orlando.
68 Ventures Bowl
Delaware vs Louisiana
8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
The Blue Hens will wear their usual winged helmets with their blue home jerseys and blue or gold pants against the Ragin’ Cajuns, who will be outfitted in vermilion helmets, white jerseys and vermilion pants in Mobile.
Dec. 18
Xbox Bowl
Arkansas State vs Missouri State
9 p.m. ET on ESPN2
Neither the Red Wolves or Bears have revealed their uniform combination for the inaugural Xbox Bowl, which will be played at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, the practice facility of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. It replaces the Bahamas Bowl, which was played during the 2014-19, 2021-22 and 2024 seasons.

Myrtle Beach Bowl
Kennesaw State vs Western Michigan
11 a.m. ET on ESPN
The Owls will wear their go-to road look of black helmets, white jerseys and black pants against the Broncos, who will wear white helmets, gold jerseys and either white or gold pants against the teal turf.
Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl
Memphis vs N.C. State
2:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
Neither the Tigers nor the Wolfpack have revealed their uniform combination for their matchup at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, which marks the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
College Football Playoff
Dec. 19
First Round – Norman, Oklahoma
Alabama at Oklahoma
8 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN
The Crimson Tide will wear their traditional road look of crimson helmets with white jerseys and pants, while the Sooners will counter with their crimson helmets, crimson home jerseys and white pants.
Dec. 20
First Round – College Station, Texas
Miami at Texas A&M
12 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN
Neither the Hurricanes nor Aggies have revealed their uniform combination, though it’s expected that the former will be outfitted in all-white and the latter in all-maroon. The only thing likely to be different is their pants colors.
First Round – Oxford, Mississippi
Tulane at Ole Miss
3:30 p.m. ET on TNT
It’s not yet clear what either team will wear in the rematch of their September meeting, when the Rebels beat the Green Wave, 45-10, with Tulane in green helmets, white jerseys and green pants and Ole Miss in navy blue helmets and jerseys with gray pants.
First Round – Eugene, Oregon
JMU at Oregon
7:30 p.m. ET on TNT
The Dukes will wear white helmets and jerseys with purple pants for their first-round matchup with the Ducks, who have not yet revealed what they’ll wear, though it’s expected to be a more subdued combination by Oregon standards.
