AEW is set to host its next PPV called Revolution on March 15, 2026. Since the PPV is two months away, the company has not officially announced any matches. This is because a lot can happen in two months in professional wrestling. New champions can be crowned, wrestlers could get injured, and new stars could be signed to the company. Therefore, in this article, we will take a look at three AEW stars who should not lose their title before Revolution 2026.
#1. MJF should remain AEW World Champion till Revolution 2026
MJF made his return from hiatus last month and, within a few days, was able to capture the AEW World Championship. He has already defended the title against Bandido and Alec Price. Maxwell already has a lot of stars looking to challenge him for the title. Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, and Hangman Page have made it clear they want a shot at The Devil.
Maxwell winning the World Title added a breath of fresh air to what was starting to become a stale championship belt. Thus is Maxwell’s star power. He has the ability to captivate audiences and boost ticket sales. Therefore, Tony Khan has a better chance of selling out Revolution 2026 if Friedman is the champion.
#2. Kris Statlander
Kris Statlander won the AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out 2025. Since then, she has defended the title against some of the top women in the division, such as Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm, Mercedes Mone, and Jamie Hayter.
Despite being a fighting champion, she has yet to do anything noteworthy with the title. Statlander has only held the title for 125 days. Therefore, she has not been able to stamp her authority on the women’s division. Before she loses the title, Tony Khan needs to fix Statlander’s booking as champion. Therefore, she should remain champion until Revolution 2026. Additionally, crowning a new champion before then will mess things up, as Tony will then have to look for a new number one contender.
#1. Willow Nightingale (TBS Championship)
On Dynamite New Year’s Smash, Willow Nightingale shocked the world when she defeated Mercedes Mone to become the new TBS Champion. Since then, she has defended her title once against Julia Hart. It’s less than a month since she became the TBS Champion.
Given that Willow Nightingale ended the historic 584-day reign of the CEO as TBS Champion, there is no way that she should lose the title so quickly. Tony Khan has to give her time to settle down as champion so that fans can witness what sort of champion she could be. Therefore, it wouldn’t make much more sense for her to lose the TBS Title before Revolution 2026.
