4 Ways Triple H can shake issues up in WWE forward of WrestleMania 42

Some fans are fine with what’s transpired in WWE regarding the top matches for WrestleMania 42. Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan earned title shots at CM Punk and Stephanie Vaquer, respectively, by winning Royal Rumble matches.

Rhea Ripley and Randy Orton did the same by surviving the Elimination Chamber. One polarizing choice was to have Cody Rhodes regain the Undisputed WWE title just two months after losing it to Drew McIntyre.

Even before that, ticket sales were much lower than officials expected. Things could rebound in the coming month. Triple H could shake things up and help those odds by doing the next four things.

#4. Make Kit Wilson and Danhausen the co-hosts of WrestleMania 42

Despite their spots as comedic performers and niche stars, both Kit Wilson and Danhausen are over with the WWE Universe for different reasons.

Fans love Wilson’s theme song, poetry, and crusade against toxic masculinity. In just under a month, Danhausen already has some of the top-selling merchandise on WWEShop.com.

Instead of having someone like the Miz receive the honor, Triple H should name both stars co-hosts for the two-night event. If not one or both, then Chelsea Green would be a perfect choice for hosting duties.

#3. Create World Title #1 Contender tournaments for fatal four-ways at the event

Every year, several top WWE stars are left off the card. Bayley has fallen victim to this more than once and is in danger of it happening again if she doesn’t beat AJ Lee on RAW.

Stars like LA Knight, Lyra Valkyria, Aleister Black, and Sami Zayn don’t have defined directions. New names like Trick Williams and Oba Femi will probably be booked on the card in featured or mid-card title bouts.

To include these stars, The Game could book a short tournament or series of triple threats that lead to a #1 Contender’s fatal four-way for the major title of the winning star’s brand. The title shot could go down at Backlash in May.

#2. Announce the appearances of a few popular WWE personalities

Kevin Owens is currently out of action following neck surgery. Bianca Belair has been out of commission since WrestleMania 41 due to complications with a finger injury.

A few legends, like Stone Cold Steve Austin and others, will probably appear in some capacity. To remind fans that The EST and Owens are still important parts of the company, Triple H should have had both involved in some way.

Owens is coaching on the upcoming season of LFG. Belair could tease future feuds with anyone like Jade Cargill, Rhea Ripley, or Tiffany Stratton.

#1. Add McIntyre and Fatu to the WWE title match and make it Hell in a Cell

Rhodes and Orton are both huge names. Despite that, too much else has been going on around the WWE title to leave out Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre.

Sticking with two singles matches is unappealing, as McIntyre will probably lose to Fatu in a grudge match. The best way to include all the moving parts is to add The Scottish Warrior and Samoan Werewolf to the title match.

McIntyre has grounds for a rematch, but GM Nick Aldis will probably deny his request. Fatu never got his fair shot at the title.

Triple H could up the ante by putting all four men inside Hell in a Cell. That would truly be a spectacle befitting a city like Las Vegas.
