5 Former associates of Finn Balor who might assist him in opposition to The Judgment Day

After weeks of increasing tension within The Judgment Day, the faction eventually turned on Finn Balor this week on Monday Night RAW. Balor’s actions last week led to Dominik Mysterio’s Intercontinental Championship loss to Penta. The Prince’s now-former teammates brutally attacked him on the red show and excommunicated him from the group.

Following the betrayal angle, let’s look at five former friends of The Prince who could help him against The Judgment Day.

#5. Roxanne Perez could help Finn Balor

This is perhaps the most complicated name on the list. Roxanne Perez has been a loyal member of The Judgment Day since she joined the faction. This loyalty is likely the reason she wasn’t kicked out of the group after Liv Morgan’s return, which many people had expected.

However, even though Perez is still part of The Judgment Day, she might decide to side with Finn Balor in this situation. Since Balor was instrumental in bringing her into the group, it makes sense for The Prodigy to team up with him upon her return.

#4. Shinsuke Nakamura

The King of Strong Style is another name on the list. He has a strong bond with Finn Balor, going back to their battles in Japan. While they have competed against each other in major matchups, they have maintained a close professional relationship. The duo has shown mutual respect after intense matches in the ring.

Currently, Shinsuke Nakamura is operating as a solo competitor on SmackDown. However, the brutal attack by The Judgment Day on his former friend, Balor, might be enough to awaken the former champion. In a shocking possibility, Nakamura could move down to RAW and join The Prince in his feud against Dominik Mysterio and Co.

#3. Tama Tonga

Tama Tonga sent the wrestling community into a frenzy when he shared a photo with Finn Balor and The Good Brothers following the AJ Styles tribute on Monday Night RAW.

The Good Bad Guy has been a force of nature since arriving in WWE. His deep-rooted history with Balor from their days in the Bullet Club is undeniable. Given this, Tama could move down to RAW to help The Prince in his feud with The Judgment Day.

#2. Rey Mysterio

Before Finn Balor defected to The Judgment Day, he was on good terms with Rey Mysterio. In fact, it appears that Balor aligning with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley was the catalyst for the heat between Rey and his son, Dominik Mysterio.

Now that Dominik has betrayed The Prince just as he betrayed his own father, a reunion between Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor seems inevitable. Teaming up with the WWE Hall of Famer would give Balor the moral high ground and the ultimate veteran edge against The Judgment Day.

#1. AJ Styles

AJ Styles has a close relationship with Finn Balor. Although they did not compete together in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, they are deeply connected as former leaders of the Bullet Club. Styles became the Bullet Club in 2014 when Balor stepped down. In WWE, they are often seen as leaders of “The Club” or “The O.C.”

While The Phenomenal One may have recently stepped away from the ring for a well-deserved retirement, nothing is impossible in WWE. In a shocking possibility, he might come out of retirement and join The Prince against The Judgment Day. Even if Styles doesn’t lace up the boots for a full-time run, having him in Balor’s corner as a strategist or an enforcer would shift the power dynamic instantly.
