5-time World Heavyweight Champion cannot wrestle in WWE ever once more on account of well being points

Very few wrestlers have been able to stay true to their retirement. A five-time World Heavyweight Champion and nine-time WWE Champion, Triple H, is one of them.

An update has emerged on the Game’s in-ring status amid online chatter about him potentially wrestling again.

The Hunter called time on his in-ring career nearly four years ago at WrestleMania 38 after a near-fatal heart failure.

He hasn’t had a match since the January 11, 2021, episode of RAW, where he faced Randy Orton in an Unsanctioned Street Fight.

Triple H has since shifted his focus to the creative side of things, serving as the Chief Content Officer of WWE.

Last week, former head writer Vince Russo suggested that Triple H could come out of retirement to face Roman Reigns. This comes after the OTC made controversial comments about the current state of WWE on the Pat McAfee show.

As exciting as another match between the Head of the Table and the Cerebral Assassin sounds on paper, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Triple H is truly done with wrestling.

Vince Russo wants a retired WWE star to replace Triple H as Head of Creative

Vince Russo clearly isn’t a fan of Triple H and has often called him out over his booking.

He recently took to his X/Twitter to say that Bobby Roode should lead the creative team instead of Paul Levesque.

“The ONE AND ONLY GUY that stands out in @WWE Management” ABOVE everybody else is . . . @RealRobertRoode Bobby is just not of their world. Bobby is “Real”. Bobby is a “Professional”. Bobby carries himself with honor, class, dignity and respect. Bobby IS NOT A GIMMICK. And, perhaps most importantly . . . BOBBY IS NOT A MARK!!! If it’s me . . . @RealRobertRoode is leading my company into the future. Not a Walrus, not a walking, talking “Gimmick”, not an Ego Maniac and certainly not the Greatest Worker in the History of the Business. @RealRobertRoode IS THE GUY!!!”

Roode has become a producer since quietly retiring from in-ring competition. Triple H has certainly raised eyebrows with his controversial booking decisions as of late.

Rumor has it that several people within the company are unhappy with him changing the WrestleMania 42 plans.

Will he step down from his position in the near future? Only time will tell.
