7 greatest touchdown spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, ranked

When it comes to searching for the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, there are quite a few locations that suit the bill. Depending on how you want to play, certain regions/POIs will be better than others. However, there are some better suited than others simply because they offer a somewhat peaceful start. This gives you the time needed to loot effectively.

Getting decent loot at the start ensures that you have the capability and capacity to engage opponents as you see fit. That being said, here’s the scoop on some of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2.

Note: These best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 are based on my personal experience and preference.

7 best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, explored

7) South of New Sanctuary

To the south of New Sanctuary is a tiny boat that not only gives you decent loot but also an isolated starting location. It has Slurp Barrels you can break to fill Shields, and enough Fishing Spots to quench your thirst for some seafood. It’s a perfect spot for when you’re playing Solo.

The only issue is that there aren’t a lot of Ammo Boxes. Once you find a weapon, you will have to rotate to the adjacent Named Location or other Landmarks for loot. Nevertheless, it’s a good place to land if you want to explore New Sanctuary once the initial fighting stops.

6) East of Dark Dominion

Is this a safe place to land? No. Is it a challenging and fun place to land? Yes. Located east of Dark Dominion, this tiny getaway atop the mountain has plenty of loot for a solo player as well as a challenge in the form of Lady Windfrost and the Ice King. Both of them spawn here and will put up a fight. There’s also a Rivalry Terminal here, which you can make use of.

Keep in mind, while this is one of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, it has its own risks. However, for a decently skilled player, it shouldn’t be too difficult. Open Chests and Produce Boxes to get weapons, ammo, and healing items.

5) Squibbly Shores

One of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 is the new Named Location called Squibbly Shores. There’s a lot of loot, a lot of cover to be found, and you’re lucky you can use a Fishing Spot to get the Lighthouse Keycard. Use it in the lighthouse to get incredible loot.

To top things off, Squibbly can also be found in this location. He can be hired for 250 Gold Bars and has the ability to scan the area for hostiles. He’s not really great in a fight, but is useful as a Scout.

4) North of Tiptop Terrace

To the far north of Tiptop Terrace is one of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. It’s quite a large area and give it’s location, it’s rather isolated. This dockyard has been better days. Coming to loot, there are a few Slurp Barrels to break up to fill Shields and enough weapons/ammo for a Duo. You can even start a Rivalry from there. Perhaps the only downside is that since it’s at the edge of the map, if any enemy (or team) pins you there, rotating will be difficult.

3) North of Frigid Fortress

North of this new Named Location, there lies one of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. There’s a small station just below the cliff that has enough loot for a Trio (if they share). It’s not the best of places if you’re looking for an aggressive start, but if you loot quickly, use the Ziplines, you can rotate to Frigid Fortress pretty quickly. Just be careful while rotating, as players with good aim can snipe from the cliffs above.

2) West of Painted Palms

One of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 is located west of Painted Palms. It’s a small Sus base that has enough loot for a Solo player. From this location, if you need to rotate, you’ll have many options to choose from. You could go north to Latte Landing, east to Painted Palms, or a short distance south to Sandy Strip.

1) South of Sus Studios

First on the list of best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 is a small Landmark called Perfect Plunge, located south of Sus Studios. This location has it all: a Rivalry Board, an indoor swimming pool, and a great road network if you need to rotate to Battlewood Boulevard. Coming to loot, there’s enough for Solo and Duo, but Solo would be a better option.

That’s about all for the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. Keep in mind that as the storyline progresses, there could be better locations to land at.
