The first full Saturday of the 2024-25 college football season is finally upon us and, with that, we’re wrapping up our comprehensive look at every uniform, logo and field change that took across the country this offseason.

We’ve already covered the ACCAmerican Athletic ConferenceBig TenBig XII, Conference USASECPac-12 and Independent programs, so now our preview will conclude with a look at the Mid-American Conference, Mountain West and Sun Belt.

The Zips quietly unveiled new uniforms this summer that feature a consistent striping pattern across their blue home and white road jerseys and pants, which can be paired with gold or white helmets.

Bowling Green

The Falcons revealed new orange home, brown alternate and white road uniforms in June that are reminiscent of their look during the 1980s and 1990s with a traditional striping pattern on the sleeves.

They will also wear special helmet decals during their Oct. 12 game against Northern Illinois that were drawn by 13-year-old Tegan Friemering and 12-year-old Ida Falck, who beat out hundreds of submissions in a kids logo design contest.

Eastern Michigan

The Eagles have renamed the field and installed new turf at Rynearson Stadium after Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby and his wife donated $1 million to the university.

The design of their gray playing surface remains the same, though Crosby’s name can be seen in the out-of-bounds area, as the track that surrounded the field was removed and replaced with green turf.

Miami (Ohio)

The RedHawks revealed new white uniforms in July that feature a script “Miami” wordmark across the chest, drop shadow numbers and three stripes on the sleeves. They were shown with three different white helmet designs that were all worn last season.

Northern Illinois

The Huskies installed a new turf field at Huskie Stadium this summer that prominently displays their primary logo at midfield rather than their “NIU” logo inside of the Illinois state outline, which has been at the 50-yard line since they last replaced the turf ahead of the 2015 season.

Mountain West

Air Force

The Falcons will honor the Air Force Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field in the Florida Panhandle with their annual Air Power Legacy Series alternate uniforms, which will be worn against Navy on Oct. 5.

The black helmets notably feature the winged dagger and star from the AFSOC’s emblem, while the anthracite uniforms include three different patches on the left sleeve representing a different career field within the Air Force.

Boise State

The Broncos updated their blue home, white road and black alternate uniforms to Nike’s Vapor F.U.S.E. template and made an adjustment to their stripes, which were previously angled but now sit horizontally on the sleeves.

The colors of the stripes on the blue home and white road jerseys have also been flipped, while the black jerseys continue to feature tonal stripes. Their orange jerseys remain unchanged, however.

Colorado State

The Rams have made several changes to their orange and green “Ag Day” alternate uniforms, which will be worn against Northern Colorado on Sept. 7, including replacing the “Colorado State” wordmark across the chest with “Colorado A&M.”

They’ve also added stripes to the sleeves and adjusted the stripes on the pants to match their current brand standards, which are reflected on their standard green home and white road jerseys and gold pants.

Colorado State also made a similar change to its “State Pride” uniforms, which will be worn against UTEP on Sept. 21, as they feature a consistent striping pattern on the sleeves and pants and a large “STATE” wordmark across the chest.

The state flag was previously contained within the sleeve caps but is now displayed on the left shoulder, while the aforementioned “STATE” wordmark also appears on the left side of the helmet.

Fresno State

The Bulldogs unveiled new black alternate uniforms, which will be worn against San Jose State on Oct. 26. The program previously donned all-black uniforms from 2013-16.

UNLV

The Rebels have added Northwestern stripes to their scarlet home and white road jerseys, which previously featured numbers on the sleeves, to match their gray alternate jerseys.

They have also switched to white numbers with a gray stroke on their scarlet jerseys and added a scarlet stroke to the gray numbers on their white jerseys.

Utah State

After pranking fans with a cow-print helmet on April Fools’ Day, the Aggies actually unveiled a spotted helmet that will be worn in the season opener against Robert Morris on Aug. 31.

This, of course, is a nod to the university’s original name, the Agricultural College of Utah, and its reputation as one of the leading agricultural schools in the country, as well as the 1,378 dairy farms in Cache County.

Wyoming

The Cowboys unveiled a new gold alternate jersey, which features a cursive “Wyoming” wordmark across the chest above western-style numbers, as well as a mountain range on the shoulders that appears to be inspired by the Cathedral Group at Grand Teton National Park.

The gold jerseys also include players’ names, which will also return to the back of their brown home and white road uniforms after a 10-year absence.

Sun Belt

Arkansas State

The Red Wolves introduced new red alternate jerseys in June that feature the same UCLA stripes on the shoulders as their black home and white road jerseys.

The red jerseys were paired with black and white helmets during a preseason party earlier this month, though the latter notably featured Arkansas State’s running “Howl” mascot on the sides.

Georgia Southern

The Eagles have changed the finish of their blue helmets from matte to satin and swapped their gray facemasks for white facemasks, which were previously only paired with white shells.

Louisiana

The Ragin’ Cajuns unveiled new helmet decals featuring their wordmark inside of a Louisiana state outline that can be worn interchangeably with their black or white helmets and include an alternate version with a U.S. flag motif.

Louisiana-Monroe

The Warhawks updated their P-40 Warhawk-inspired helmets, which will be worn as their primary design this season, to include a brighter shade of maroon and metallic gold. They also unveiled a new black alternate uniform which will debut against UAB on Sept. 7.

Marshall

The Thundering Herd made a subtle change to their look by adding metallic decals to their standard white and black alternate helmets.

Texas State

…and finally, the Bobcats unveiled new white uniforms that feature a traditional striping pattern on the sleeves and pants and a commemorative logo celebrating the university’s 125th anniversary on the right shoulder.

The uniforms were shown with a gold helmet that displays a cursive “Bobcats” on the side, though that was introduced last season. There were no changes to their maroon home or black alternate jerseys, however.
