Norman Lear, the TV icon who had a seismic impression on American tradition and social change, has died.
Lear died at his dwelling in L.A. Tuesday of pure causes, in keeping with his publicist.

Lear leaves behind his third spouse, Lyn Davis, six children and 4 grandkids.
Lear was 101 and lived these years effectively.
