Texas DPS pursued two illegal aliens through miles of brush with the K-9 unit in Maverick County last week.
Shark and Bona were the two dogs in the K-9 unit that tracked the illegals for a combined total of 16 miles through brush. The two illegals from Mexico tried to avoid capture by going through private ranch properties but were eventually found and arrested. Both dogs were given water and took turns pursuing the illegals, so they had time to rest and recover.

Texas DPS have worked countless hours pursuing illegals within their State largely due to the Biden regime’s intentional neglect of the southern border. Their tireless efforts have made the State of Texas a safer place to live.
TGP reported last week that the DPS had pursued a human smuggler on a high-speed chase carrying 14 illegals in a truck. The driver drove recklessly on and off road putting numerous people in danger.

Texas has been very successful in deterring illegal immigration under Operation Lone Star which was launched in 2021 under Republican Governor Greg Abbott. The State has used the Texas DPS and the Texas National Guard to detect illegals crossing into the US as well as apprehending those already in Texas. The operation also pursues cartel members and human smugglers as well as working to stop drugs, including fentanyl, from entering the US.
The US Constitution gives the Federal Government the responsibility and authority under Article IV, Section 4 to stop an invasion of the United States. The Biden Regime has willfully neglected this vital and important duty.
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.
Upon taking office on January 20th, 2025, President Trump has made a commitment to the American people to immediately seal the border and start deporting illegal aliens.
