25% Of UK Sex Crimes Committed by Foreign Nationals

Jeremy Kyle: «This week we heard that foreigners are responsible for nearly 25% of sex crimes in the United Kingdom. We also heard another shocking story about an antisemitic Palestinian who records himself with an AK-47 and manages to stay here, probably because of human rights law.

And then there’s this ‘Tories’ issue today. They finally announced the deportation of all foreign nationals with criminal records. About time! Why does it take them so long to make a sensible proposal?»

Henry Bolton: «That is a very good question, Jeremy. I don’t know. Many of them are now saying things they could have said years ago, and they didn’t. Why didn’t they? I’ve speculated many times that they lack the courage. They don’t have the knowledge… Let’s say courage. They’re afraid of tackling the topic.

But as more evidence comes out, I think they are gaining confidence. More and more people, especially on social media and shows like yours, are bringing this to light. I think, over time, it will have an impact, and they will realize that politically, it’s better to respond to the issue.

As for what can be done, Albania still tops the list in terms of organized crime. One in four Albanians in this country has served a prison sentence. One in four.

When 25% of a specific group of immigrants in the United Kingdom ends up in jail—and that’s not including criminal records, warnings, or minor offenses, just those who are in prison—when that happens, surely it’s time to ask yourself, if you are the Prime Minister or Home Secretary, isn’t it time to stop these people from coming in?»

All foreign nationals in the UK who receive a criminal conviction would be deported under a new Conservative Party policy. The Tories’ plan would introduce an amendment to the government’s borders law that would remove the current threshold, under which foreign criminals are only expelled after receiving a one-year prison sentence.

The party hopes that this amendment, which would require the support of Labour MPs, would also facilitate the deportation of foreign criminals by eliminating exceptions granted by the European Court of Human Rights.

The policy would apply to foreign nationals, including asylum seekers, and anyone who has been charged with or convicted of immigration offenses. Imran Hussain, the executive director of external affairs at the Refugee Council, stated: “We would be criminalizing refugees for being on boats, trying to remove them and then finding out that they cannot be deported, leaving people languishing in detention. It’s a recipe for chaos and huge costs.”

The shadow home secretary added: “We cannot allow endless appeals and delays. The government has a duty to protect British citizens from these criminals, who are often dangerous. And when another country refuses to take back its own citizens, including criminals, the government must stop issuing new visas to people from those countries.”

While Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, described the proposals as “simple,” refugee groups called them “absurdly unworkable.”

Tim Naor Hilton, chief executive of Refugee Action, stated: “This amendment is not only terrifying but also absurdly unworkable and a blatant political stunt. It appears to demand the deportation of all people fleeing war and persecution who have no other option but to take irregular routes to reach safety here.

Politicians must stop threatening people with this kind of hostile and extreme policies and rhetoric, which only serve to fuel racial hatred and encourage violence on our streets.”

Amnesty International UK urged the government not only to oppose the policy but also to scrap “unworkable immigration laws from recent years that undermine international law obligations,” calling on the Labour Party to adopt a new approach.

Steve Valdez-Symonds, the charity’s migrant rights director, stated: “These proposed amendments represent an unwavering commitment to hostility towards human rights and towards the people whose lives depend on them the most.”

The Tories also hope to introduce an amendment requiring the government to stop issuing visas to nationals from countries that refuse to take back their own citizens, including criminals, by making a change to Section 24 of the Immigration Act 1971.

It is worth noting that none of the advocates for illegal immigrants seem to realize that the vast majority of those they defend are criminals with prior records in their home countries and that, upon arriving in the UK, they continue committing horrific crimes such as rapes and murders. At what point will these defenders of criminals take the right path and stand up for the innocent, for the victims, for the parents of the young girls who were raped and murdered?
