Charlotte Flair’s match on WWE SmackDown tonight had an unexpected ending. This even left The Queen surprised.
Charlotte may very well be one of the greatest female performers in WWE history. After returning from a serious injury earlier this year and winning the Royal Rumble, she challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41. However, she ended up losing the match. Following this, she has been trying to get back into the title picture, and what better way to do so than winning the Queen of the Ring tournament.
The final of the tournament will take place at Night of Champions and the winner will receive a shot at their respective brand’s world title at SummerSlam. Tonight on the blue brand show, Flair was set to face off against Chelsea Green, Candice LeRae, and Alexa Bliss.
Earlier in the show, Chelsea Green informed Nick Aldis that she wasn’t at the arena and tried to get the match postponed. However, Nick Aldis gave her spot to Alba Fyre. During the match, Charlotte Flair was poised to win when she locked in the Figure Eight on Alba Fyre.
However, Alexa Bliss hit a Sister Abigail on Candice LeRae and won the match. Flair was stunned and wasn’t happy about what had happened in the ring.
It will be interesting to see who wins the Queen of the Ring tournament this year.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
