Thymen Arensman collected his second stage win of this year’s Tour de France in Friday’s abbreviated mountainous Stage 19 trek to La Plagne.

The 25-year-old Dutchman, who also won Stage 14, finished the ride from Albertville two seconds ahead of Jonas Vingegaard of Denmark and Tadej Pogacar of Slovenia.

Pogacar, the three-time and defending champion, retained the yellow jersey and holds a 4:24 lead over Vingegaard approaching Sunday’s finish in Paris. Germany’s Florian Lipowitz is in third, more than 11 minutes behind.

Originally scheduled for 129.9 kilometer, Friday’s stage was shortened to 95 kilometers. Organizers canceled two of the five planned climbs in order to avoid a herd of diseased cattle.

Saturday’s penultimate Stage 20 is a hilly 184.2-kilometer trek from Nantua to Pontarlier.
