WATCH: President Trump Speaks to Reporters, says “We Have a Radical left Group of Lunatics… We’re Going to Get That Problem Solved” – Calls for Supporters to Respond Peacefully | The Gateway Pundit

Trump spoke to reporters on Thursday as he departed the White House for the Bronx, New York, to commemorate the 24th anniversary of 9/11 and fielded questions about his friend and the Great conservative leader, Charlie Kirk.

The 31-year-old political commentator, activist, and co-founder of Turning Point USA tragically passed away in the hospital hours after the terrorist attack during a stop on his “Prove Me Wrong” tour at the college campus.

President Trump released a powerful statement on Wednesday, remembering the life of Charlie Kirk and condemning the wave of “radical left political violence” in America.

He also vowed to “find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence—including the organizations that fund it and support it—as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country.”

When asked if he is concerned for his own safety on Thursday, the President told reporters he isn’t “really,” but “I’m really concerned for our country,” he said.

“We have a radical left group of lunatics out there, just absolute lunatics, and we’re going to get that problem solved. I’m only concerned for the country,” Trump continued, doubling down on his plan to restore order and stop the criminals funding leftwing violence.

It can be recalled that President Trump, just two weeks ago, called for far-left billionaire George Soros and his son, Alex Soros, to be investigated and charged under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) for being the main funders and supporters of violent far-left rioters.

The President was then asked how supporters of Charlie Kirk should respond to the horrific incident of violence, with the reporter noting Charlie’s advocacy for non-violence and peaceful debate. The President said that he wants to see people respond with exactly what Charlie advocated for: non-violence.

Further, the President shared that he had a “long talk” with Erika, the wife of Charlie Kirk, and that she is “absolutely devastated.”

Reporter: Are you concerned for your own safety?

Trump: Not really. I’m really concerned for our country. We have a great country. We have a radical left group of lunatics out there, just absolute lunatics, and we’re going to get that problem solved. I’m only concerned for the country.

Reporter: How do you want to see your supporters respond to this? Charlie Kirk was a big advocate of non violence and free speech on campus. How do you want your supporters to respond?

Trump:I think that way. He was. He was an advocate of non-violence. That’s the way I’d like to see people respond.

Reporter: Did you speak with his family?

Trump:I did. I spoke to Erika, his wife, and we had a long talk, and she’s devastated. She’s absolutely devastated, as you can imagine.
