Ed Sheeran Seems to Confirm His Album Logo Will Be Next on Barcelona’s El Clásico Shirts – Sports activitiesLogos.Net News

British music superstar and massive soccer fan Ed Sheeran has seemingly confirmed that the logo for his new album will be the next music-related logo to appear on FC Barcelona’s jerseys for their upcoming El Clásico match.

The singer was photographed last week wearing a black Nike-branded T-shirt with the logo for his latest album, Play, in pink next to the Barça crest. This would seem to confirm that the Play logo will appear on the team’s kits when they visit rivals Real Madrid on Sunday, October 26.

Sheeran is a big football fan, having grown up in Suffolk, England, and supporting Ipswich Town. He sponsored Ipswich Town for four seasons, with his world tour logo on the front of their shirts from 2021-22 to 2024-25. During that time, the club won successive promotions to reach the Premier League in 2024-25, their first time in England’s top flight in 23 seasons.

While the logos on Sheeran’s shirt were pink to match his album artwork, it’s likely the logos on the Barça jerseys will be yellow, just like Spotify’s logo on this season’s Nike home kits.

Barcelona has been putting music logos on the front of their El Clásico jerseys ever since Spotify became their front-of-shirt sponsor in 2022. Other artists featured on past shirts include:

The first El Clásico of the 2025-26 La Liga season will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, October 26, with kickoff scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET.
