Bank of Japan Governor Ueda has cancelled his Wednesday speech, event cancelled.

- In full partnership with the French Embassy in Japan and the Banque de France, Paris Europlace is organising the 2025 Paris Europlace Forum in Tokyo on 8 October at the French Residence in Tokyo.
- Governors François Villeroy de Galhau and Kazuo Ueda will give speeches and then take questions from the press. Introduced by the French Ambassador to Japan, Philippe Setton, the event will also feature other representatives from French and Japanese financial institutions and authorities, including Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike. Following the Forum, a meeting will be organised by the French Embassy in Japan between Paris Europlace and its counterpart FinCity. Tokyo in order to strengthen ties between the two financial centres.
