Recently, Death Riders member Marina Shafir shocked the world after teaming up with a popular AEW star on Dynamite. Following this unexpected alliance, Shafir shared a bold message to put her rivals on notice in All Elite Wrestling.
It was revealed on this week’s special Fright Night AEW Dynamite that Megan Bayne will continue the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament with Marina Shafir. Her former partner, Penelope Ford, announced that she has been suffering from a torn UCL in her right arm, which means she will be out of action for a while. It forced Bayne to call out anyone in the locker room to join her in the tournament, and Shafir proudly stepped up.
Following the major moment, the Death Riders member took to Instagram Threads, declaring that her tournament opponents should prepare for a war in the near future. With a stern tone, Shafir wrote:
“The Goddess asked for The Problem, so you all get war #DeathRiders @aew @themeganbayne”

Death Riders’ Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne will face TayJay in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title tournament
AEW has already announced the remaining brackets of the Women’s World Tag Team Championships. The newly formed alliance of Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir is also set to compete in the quarter finals of the tournament against TayJay.
The team of Tay Melo and Anna Jay is determined to become the inaugural champions in AEW history. However, AEW has put the formidable alliance of Bayne and Shafir against them in this tournament. Fans are predicting that Megan and Marina are likely to win the quarter finals to make their way to the semi-finals.
As of now, Julia Hart and Skye Blue are the only stars who have managed to make their way to the semi-finals after defeating Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata on Dynamite this week.
