CM Punk finally finished his story at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI, as he finally captured the World Heavyweight Championship. The Best in the World and Jey Uso locked horns in an intense battle for the vacant title.
The Second City Saint managed to survive and went on to deliver the final blow to The YEET Master, claiming the win. Things are bound to get chaotic on RAW as every superstar on the roster will be gunning for his title.
It’s expected that Punk will continue his feud with The Vision faction, and former champion Seth Rollins might do the unthinkable. Seth’s hatred for The Best in the World is well-known, and despite being injured and out of his stable, in a shocking turn of events, The Visionary could put “hit” on the newly crowned champion and offer money to anyone who beats him.
That said, the angle suggested above is speculative, and nothing has been confirmed yet.
Former WWE champion talks about his injury
Seth Rollins suffered a shoulder injury at Crown Jewel and had to go on hiatus, as a result of which he was stripped of his World Heavyweight Title. He recently had surgery.
The Visionary recently appeared on the Good Morning Football show cosplaying as Stanley the Bear. The host pointed out that the mascot was wearing a sling. Rollins then took off the headgear and revealed himself. While speaking, Seth shared that he will be out for six months.
“I’m out, guys. I’m out for six months. My World Championship is gonna be worn by some schmuck, either Jey Uso or CM Punk, it’s awful. It really is,” he said.
All eyes are on the WWE World Heavyweight Title and what plans the Triple H-led creative team has for the newly crowned champion, and when the former leader of The Vision will return.
