Naomi is currently on an in-ring hiatus due to pregnancy. She announced the news back in August on an episode of Monday Night RAW. She also had to relinquish the Women’s World title in the same segment. She has now broken silence after her husband shared an update on her pregnancy.
The Glow made her return to WWE at last year’s Royal Rumble event. She participated in the Women’s match after coming back from a run in TNA Wrestling. Since then she was featured as a face and won the Women’s World Tag Team titles along with Bianca Belair.
She turned heel earlier this year after being revealed as Jade Cargill’s attacker. She went on to win the Women’s Money in the Bank contract during this run and also become the Women’s World Champion.
Her husband Jimmy Uso recently shared a video on his Instagram story to provide an update on her pregnancy. Naomi responded to that video by resharing it on her story with a hilarious caption.
“Looking at the man that got me pregnant likeeeee 🤨as he laughs bc this was some nasty work🤣” she wrote.
Fans loved to see this hilarious interaction between the power couple on Instagram.
Naomi had her final match at SummerSlam before relinquishing the title
At Evolution Premium Live Event in July, IYO SKY was set to face Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship. During the match, Naomi cashed-in her Money in the Bank contract to make it a Triple Threat match and walked out with the Championship.
The Glow then defended her Championship at SummerSlam in a Triple Threat match against both IYO and Rhea. The match ended up being a great sendoff to the Champion as she had to relinquish the title a few weeks ago due to pregnancy.
Fans all around the world loved Naomi’s heel run. She became a legend during this run on WWE programming.
