Fans are finding Novak Djokovic “selfish” since the Serb has still not made up his mind whether he will play in the 2025 ATP Finals at Turin. In the meantime, the tournament has released the draw, and it features Djokovic in the same group as Carlos Alcaraz, Taylor Fritz, and Alex de Minaur.
Despite seeing his name there, Djokovic, who is in the middle of the Hellenic Championships in Athens, let the reporters know that there is no guarantee whether he’ll turn up for the ATP Finals.
“Yes, I saw the draw and groups, but it doesn’t change anything. I will make the decision after Athens,” Djokovic said in a press conference.

After defeating Yannick Hanfmann 6-3, 6-4 in the semi-final, Novak Djokovic has reached the final of the Hellenic Championship, where he’ll face Italy’s Lorenzo Mussetti, who defeated Sebastian Korda 6-0, 5-7, 7-5 in his semi-final.
More than Djokovic, this tournament is important for Mussetti. If he wins against Djokovic in the Athens final, he will book himself a spot in the ATP Finals as the eighth seed. If not, Felix-Auger Aliassime will get that spot.
Should Djokovic decide to withdraw from the ATP Finals in time, then Mussetti will go to the ATP Finals regardless of the result.
