Triple H has now reacted after a shocking WWE title change on RAW. The match was booked by The Game at the last minute and led to a surprising title change.
Triple H sent a message to John Cena after his historic title win
The Game was in the ring when Cena was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who came out to make things worse for the retiring star. Mysterio interrupted him in his own hometown to tell him that neither Boston nor Cena mattered at all. The star continued to insult the 17-time WWE Champion and made it clear that he could defeat him at any time he wanted.
Unfortunately for him, the WWE CCO was not taking that and directly told him so. Since he was so confident about taking out Cena, he decided to make a match between them right then and there, for Mysterio’s Intercontinental title. After a hard-fought match, Cena walked away with the win and became Intercontinental Champion.
Triple H sent a message after John Cena made history and became a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. He took a picture with his long-time rival and friend, John Cena, and called him the Grand Slam Greatest of All Time, after having honored him with the introduction at the beginning of the show.
“Grand. Slam. GOAT. #WWERaw,” he wrote.
Triple H has to book three more opponents for John Cena to face
The Game has his work cut out for him as he has to book three more opponents for Cena.
He is supposed to appear next week on RAW, at Survivor Series, and at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
It remains to be seen whether Cena can hold on to the title until he retires, or if he will lose it and retire looking up at the lights, keeping to tradition.
