Philadelphia Phillies slugger Bryce Harper and his wife, Kayla (nee Varner), were high school sweethearts. The couple married in December 2016 and are blessed parents of four children, two boys and two girls.
Their oldest daughter and second child, Brooklyn Elizabeth, turned 5 on Wednesday. On the special day, Harper’s wife shared a snap of Brooklyn on Instagram, sending a sweet birthday wish.
The image showed the girl standing on the edge of what appears to be an infinity pool, looking out over a highway and the ocean. She wore a strapless, patterned jumpsuit.

Wheeler, Stott, Wilson, Turner, and Castellanos are Harper’s current teammates on the Phillies. Hoffman and Adams are his former teammates on the Phillies and Nationals, respectively. Rodon, the Yankees pitcher, has never been teammates with Harper.
Bryce Harper’s daughter Brooklyn’s previous birthday was a fantasy affair
Bryce Harper’s wife, Brooklyn, dressed like a fairy tale princess for her fourth birthday. Last December, Harper’s wife, Kayla, shared a multi-snap post of the grand celebration on her Instagram.
“Celebrated our 4 year old snack queen a couple of weeks ago 🦄✨ Brooklyn has the sass that could take out an army and a heart that could heal the world. We love you, sis!” Kayla wrote in the caption.
On Brooklyn’s third birthday, Harper’s wife shared a snap of her oldest daughter with their pet dog on Instagram.
“My sassy, little bestie is 3 today!! ✨ we love you sissy!” she captioned the post.
According to Bryce Harper’s wife, their oldest daughter likes outdoor activities like fishing and hiking with Krew Aaron, her older brother. Krew, born on August 22, 2019, is closer in age to Brooklyn than her younger siblings, Kamryn Rae and Hayes III, who were born in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
