ONE 173: “THE PRIDE OF THAILAND”

Superbon’s dominant unification victory over Masaaki Noiri has sent shockwaves through the global martial arts community, with fans flooding social media to celebrate the Thai icon’s technical masterclass on enemy soil.

The 35-year-old undisputed ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion dismantled interim titleholder Masaaki Noiri across five punishing rounds in the main event of ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri on Sunday, Nov. 16.

At the end of the matchup, he earned a unanimous decision inside Tokyo’s Ariake Arena to silence any doubters questioning his supremacy atop the division.

Following the Bangkok-based warrior’s commanding performance, ONE Championship‘s Instagram post announcing the result exploded with reactions from fans worldwide.

Superbon leaves no doubt about who reigns supreme with a vintage performance vs. Masaaki Noiri

While Masaaki Noiri came prepared and threw everything but the kitchen sink at the Superbon Training Camp founder, the Thai showed no signs of worry as he dominated every exchange with volume, power, and precision.

Superbon reminded everyone why he stands leagues above his nearest rivals in the loaded featherweight kickboxing division, and with more technical masterclasses like the one he delivered in Tokyo, very few stand a chance at beating the mighty Thai.

His triumph inside the Japanese capital city against Masaaki Noiri elevated his resume to 117-37.

What’s next for Superbon on the global stage of ONE Championship? Could a world title defense against Marat Grigorian be up next, or will he continue his mission to complete his two-sport world championship dream? Let us know below!
