Jersey Shore BlueClaws introduce “Liberty Bucket” cap emblem – SportsLogos.Net News

The Jersey Shore BlueClaws will pay tribute to their parent club in Philadelphia, the forthcoming US semiquincentennial, and their hometown’s beach culture with a new on-field cap logo in 2026. The “Liberty Bucket” logo combines the iconic Liberty Bell, a ubiquitous symbol of the City of Brotherly Love, with a baseball bat and a plastic toy beach shovel.

“This new logo ties so much together,” said BlueClaws General Manager Bob McLane in a statement. “We’re extremely proud of our association with the Phillies for the entire duration of our existence, and excited to celebrate America’s 250th birthday coming up this year.”

While the Phillies are the only parent club that the BlueClaws have had in their 25-year history, the team has seen some changes over the years. From 2001 to 2020, the then-Lakewood BlueClaws were the Phillies’ Class A affiliate in the South Atlantic League. The team became the Jersey Shore BlueClaws in 2021, the same season that the South Atlantic League switched from Class A to High-A.

The BlueClaws’ 25th-anniversary season begins April 3, 2026, against the Wilmington Blue Rocks.
