WWE Superstar Randy Orton made a controversial remark amid his hiatus from Friday Night SmackDown. The veteran has been away for about eight weeks.
Amid his time away from WWE, The Viper featured in a recent video posted on IShowSpeed’s YouTube channel. In the video titled SPEED GOES PRO, EPISODE 5: RANDY ORTON (WWE), Orton helped the 20-year-old train at the WWE Performance Center. After undergoing basic training and practicing some moves, IShowSpeed wrestled WWE LFG talent Anthony Luke, who has been with the wrestling promotion since April 2014 and regularly performs at NXT House Shows.
Thanks for the submission!
At one point during the match, Orton spoke to IShowSpeed on the outside, telling him that he had more personality than anyone sitting in the crowd. Although the 14-time world champion was trying to motivate the YouTuber, his comment undermined several young performers signed with WWE, who were also part of the crowd.
“Come here. Come here. Good sh*t. You’ve got more personality than anybody sitting in this fu**ing auditorium. Keep doing what you’ve been doing. You got this. You got it,” Orton said.

IshowSpeed put forth a praiseworthy performance in his match against Anthony Luke. However, he ended up losing the bout.
Randy Orton is set to miss another WWE Premium Live Event
Randy Orton’s last premium live event appearance was at WWE SummerSlam. He was absent from Clash in Paris, Wrestlepalooza, and Crown Jewel after that.
The SmackDown star’s absence from premium live events is likely to continue at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. The 45-year-old is not scheduled to wrestle at the show, and if he does not make a surprise appearance, it will be the fourth straight PLE (excluding Saturday Night’s Main Event) without the veteran.
The Apex Predator’s last in-ring appearance was on the October 3 edition of the blue brand, where he teamed up with Cody Rhodes to wrestle Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Unfortunately, the former Legacy stablemates lost to The Vision members.
WWE has not disclosed any reason behind Randy Orton’s absence. It will be intriguing to see when he makes his much-anticipated return to Friday Night SmackDown.
