Garena is all set to host the Free Fire Max Asia Invitational (FFMAI) 2025. A total of 26 teams from seven countries have been invited to participate in the tournament, which will take place from December 5, 2025, to December 21, 2025. The event will be held online in both the Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. Its total prize pool is $50,000.
Out of the 26 teams, 18 have been invited to the 2025 FFMAI Play-Ins, while eight have been directly invited to the Main Event. Both these stages will be conducted in the Battle Royale mode. The top 16 will secure their spots in the Clash Squad phase of the event.
FFMAI 2025 format and dates
Play-Ins – December 5 to December 7
The 18 teams in the 2025 FFMAI Play-Ins will compete from December 5 to December 7. Divided into three groups, each squad will play 12 matches. Those ranked first to 10th on the overall points table will advance to the Main Event, while those ranked 11th to 18th will be eliminated.

Main Event – December 11 to December 13
The top 10 teams from the Play-Ins, along with the eight directly invited ones, will compete in the FFMAI Main Event from December 11 to December 13. These participants will be placed in three groups, with each one playing 12 matches. The top 12 from the overall rankings will progress to the Grand Finals, while the top 16 will qualify for the Clash Squad mode.

Grand Finals – December 14
The 12 teams in the Grand Finals will battle one another in the Champion Rush format on December 14. Garena will host up to 10 matches in this stage, with 80 points set as the Champion Rush threshold for victory.
Clash Squad mode – December 18 to December 21
The top 16 teams from the Battle Royale part of the event will play in the Clash Squad mode. This stage will follow a single-elimination bracket.
The Semifinals and Grand Finals will be played in a best-of-five (BO5) format, while the remaining matches will be organized in a best-of-three (BO3) format.
