AEW stars instantly compelled to vacate titles for a severe cause

Following unfortunate circumstances, top AEW stars were forced to vacate their titles. With the belts now being up for grabs, a match has just been announced to crown the new champions.

La Faccion Ingobernables (LFI) finally captured gold when they won the ROH Tag Team titles at Death Before Dishonor in August. After Dustin Rhodes had to relinquish the titles he shared with Sammy Guevara due to injury, Guevara was asked to choose a new partner with whom he would side. He ended up turning on the Sons of Texas and siding with Rush, and they would win the belts together.

Lightning has struck twice on the Spanish God, as Rush is now unfortunately out due to injury. This means that, similar to last time, the titles are now vacated, and Guevara will now have to win these back with a new partner. He will now be teaming up with The Beast Mortos as LFI will take on the duo of Tommy Billington and Adam Priest for the ROH Tag Team Championship at Final Battle next week.

Billington and Priest have put on some great performances on both ROH and AEW. However, it seems that Guevara and Mortos are confident heading into the bout as they claim that the faction will still hold onto the gold after the pay-per-view.

Another match has been changed due to injuries within AEW

Following Rush’s injury, another match for the pay-per-view has also been forced to accommodate some last-minute changes.

Originally, El Toro Blanco was set to challenge Bandido for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle. Unfortunately, due to his suffering from a knee injury, this match has been changed to a Survival of the Fittest match. This is essentially an elimination match, with the final survivor being crowned as the champion.

This bout will feature Bandido putting his title on the line against several top AEW stars, including Komander, Sammy Guevara, Hechicero, Blake Christian, and The Beast Mortos.

RUSH was originally gonna challenge Bandido at Final Battle, but sadly RUSH is unable to compete due to a knee injury.

LFI has a chance to leave Final Battle with all the gold should they be successful in their campaigns for the tag team titles and the world title.
