The AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone gave a new name to herself after flaunting a new look. The CEO managed to secure a win for her team on the Holiday Bash as well.
Mercedes Mone has a new name for herself. The CEO has been in the UK lately due to the recent AEW shows taking place there. Mone also defended her British Women’s title successfully at a recent RevPro event in Cardiff, Wales. At Holiday Bash from Manchester this week, Mercedes was set for an 8-woman tag match as well.
Ahead of the Holiday Bash show, Mercedes flaunted her new attire inspired by the UK flag. She shared the following TikTok video with her new look on her Instagram handle recently:
Mone shared the above reel on her recent Instagram story as well. She named herself the “CEO of the UK” with the following statement:
“Leave a (heart emojis) for the CEO of the UK”
Speaking of Mercedes’ 8-woman tag match on Holiday Bash this week, she teamed up with Athena, Megan Bayne, and Marina Shafir to take on the team of Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, and the Babes of Wrath. Ultimately, Mone managed to pin Willow Nightingale, securing the win for her team.
Mercedes Mone put up a challenge for another AEW title
While Mercedes Mone is currently holding 12 title belts, including the TBS title, she expressed her desire to win another title. After pinning one-half of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion, Willow Nightingale, in the 8-woman tag match on Holiday Bash, Mone is eyeing the tag titles.
During a backstage segment, Mercedes and Athena challenged the Babes of Wrath, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, for the Women’s World Tag titles.
Fans will have to wait and see if the challenge gets accepted for the women’s tag title match.
