Lane Kiffin drops 2-word response to close down roster-tampering buzz after LSU targets two Rebels amid NIL leak claims

Lane Kiffin has been cooking in the transfer portal. The LSU head coach has landed numerous highly sought-after recruits, and the Tigers now have the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation.

However, his success has led to accusations of roster-tampering. The former Ole Miss Rebels HC shut down those speculations with a two-word post after claims that he is trying to destroy the Ole Miss locker room.

“Let them”, Kiffin wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

It came after a fan defended him from allegations that he had been tampering with Ole Miss’ portal recruits. Kiffin even took to his Instagram stories to post a graphic of the importance of self-love.

According to On3 Sports, Kiffin was trying to get Devin Harper and Princewill Umanmielen to his team. Kiffin joined LSU at the start of January. He joined despite leading the Ole Miss Rebels to an 11-1 record and the first College Football Playoffs appearance.

Kiffin has bounced back from the sting, and he’s now preparing for his first season as LSU’s head coach.

Lane Kiffin lands highly rated Ole Miss transfer

Lane Kiffin’s LSU Tigers are well stocked at the quarterback position, having signed Sam Leavitt, Husan Longstreet and Landen Clark. Next up is elite protection for the QBs.

According to Yahoo Sports, the LSU Tigers have landed highly rated offensive lineman Devin Harper. The Louisiana native will continue his college football career under Lane Kiffin in familiar surroundings.

Devin Harper measures at 6-foot-4, 315 pounds and is a product of Shreveport High School. He’ll be tasked with adding grit to an offensive line that looked vulnerable at different points in 2024.

The LSU Tigers will now look to close out the portal with a few more signings while retaining key members of their current roster. The Tigers start the 2026 season against the Clemson Tigers. Here’s the rest of their schedule.
