Hytale features a variety of weapons for players to arm themselves with while exploring the dangerous outdoors, with swords being one of the most popular picks. There are different tiers of swords that can be created in this Minecraft-inspired sandbox game, via resource progression, granting players ever-increasingly powerful variants to deal with bigger threats.

How to craft all swords in Hytale
From the most basic Crude Sword to the most powerful versions formed by using rare ores, here is every sword in the game currently:
- Crude Sword: Any Rubble (x2), Plant Fiber (x2), Stick (x2)
- Copper Sword: Copper Ingot (x4), Any Tree Trunk (x4), Plant Fiber (x4)
- Iron Sword: Iron Ingot (x6), Light Leather (x3), Linen Scraps (x3)
- Thorium Sword: Thorium Ingot (x8), Medium Leather (x3), Linen Scraps (x3)
- Cobalt Sword: Cobalt Ingot (x10), Heavy Leather (x3), Shadoweave Scraps (x3)
- Adamantite Sword: Adamantite Ingot (x11), Heavy Leather (x4), Cindercloth Scraps (x3)
- Mithril Sword: Mithril Ingot (x6), Storm Leather (x3), Voidheart (x1)
Note that the Crude Sword can be crafted at a normal Workbench, while the other options will require a Blacksmith’s Anvil to craft. Additionally, weapons and gear in Hytale have a durability meter, which goes down the more an item is used.
These tools can be repaired with a Repair Kit, but do note that each use will decrease the max durability of a gear by 10%. This does mean players will break weapons faster than usual, but unfortunately, there is no way to disable this mechanic in the game, not even in the world settings.
