A popular WWE duo revealed a secret handshake with legendary official Charles Robinson at a live event. Robinson has worked for the promotion as a referee since 2001.
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria have been trying to get RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to recognize them as an official tag team over the past few weeks on the red brand. The duo was recently in action at a live event, and Bayley showed off a secret handshake with Charles Robinson.

Lyra Valkyria was the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion but lost the title to Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank 2025. Maxxine Dupri won the title from The Man last November on RAW after AJ Lee provided a distraction during the match. Becky Lynch has since recaptured the title and is scheduled to defend it against Maxxine Dupri tomorrow night on WWE RAW in Ireland.
WWE Hall of Famer apologizes to Charles Robinson
Wrestling legend Goldberg recently issued an apology to Charles Robinson for hitting him with a Spear during his match against Gunther at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event last year.
Gunther defeated Goldberg in his retirement match last year at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Da Man apologized to Robinson for causing him to suffer a cracked rib during his final match. However, Charles Robinson later revealed on Insight with Chris Van Vliet that the injury was fabricated.
“Yeah, I mean… here’s the deal. I asked for Charles to be in there. Charles and I have a long history, and Charles has taken that before, and I might have broken a rib last time, and Charles is a freakin’… he is a, I don’t know, I’m not gonna say ‘Renaissance Man’… that dude’s indestructible. I don’t know how old he is, but he’s taken that Spear a number of times, a lot of times, actually, and more power to him. Man, I love him to death, but I do apologize for the rib, but it’ll heal like the other one did,” he said. [H/T: ITRWrestling.com]
