Crops are tied to almost every activity in Heartopia, from farming and decorating to cooking. This means you must have a steady supply of seeds in the game. Seeds come from one main source, and what you can buy depends entirely on how much time you’ve spent gardening.
This article explains how and where you can find seeds in Heartopia.
Everything you need to know about seeds in Heartopia
If you want seeds in Heartopia, you need to find Blanc. He’s the gardener who introduces you to the Gardening hobby during the tutorial, and he’s also the only NPC who sells crop seeds.

Whenever you run low on seeds, follow these steps:
- Open your in-game map.
- Look for Blanc’s icon.
- Select it and choose Track.
Once tracking is active, a bubble indicator will show you how far away Blanc is, so you don’t have to wander around town guessing. Stars will point you in his direction.
When you reach Blanc, you’ll be able to buy more than just seeds. He also sells flower seeds, planters, flower beds, fertilizer, and growth boosters. Still, seeds are the main reason you’ll keep coming back to him.
If you scroll through Blanc’s shop and notice seeds you can’t buy yet, nothing is broken. This is tied directly to your Gardening hobby level.

Heartopia wants you to ease into farming instead of unlocking everything at once. As your Gardening level increases, Blanc slowly adds new seeds to his inventory.
To level up naturally:
- Plant whatever seeds you currently have.
- Water your crops regularly.
- Harvest them once they’re fully grown.
There’s no shortcut here. The more time you spend tending your crops, the faster new seeds become available.
Blanc changes his location throughout the day, which can make him hard to track down if you don’t know his routine. Using the map tracker to find him is always the safest option.
On most days, you’ll find him following this schedule:
- 6 am – 8 am: Taking care of his garden at home
- 8 am – 6 pm: Working at the Garden Shop in town
- 12 pm – 1 pm: Spending some time in the Town Square
- 6 pm – 8 pm: Back at his home garden again
At the moment, Heartopia has 13 different crop seeds that you can grow and use for cooking. Below is the full list, along with the Gardening level required to unlock each one:
Once you understand that Blanc is your seed supplier and Gardening level controls progression, everything starts to make sense in Heartopia.
