Has Britt Baker quietly left AEW? Looking on the reality

While fans on the internet have been wondering whether Britt Baker is no longer with AEW, the truth is analyzed. The former Women’s World Champion has been out for a long time.

Dr. Britt Baker DMD was one of the first female stars to sign with All Elite Wrestling during the company’s inception in 2019. She also held the AEW Women’s World Championship once during her tenure. Meanwhile, Britt has not been on TV for well over a year, as her last match took place on an episode of Dynamite in November 2024.

Amid her excessively lengthy absence from TV, many fans have been speculating whether The DMD has quietly left Tony Khan’s promotion. Well, the truth is that Britt has not yet left All Elite Wrestling, as she is still listed on the official roster page, and there is no confirmation on her potential contract expiry.

It was reported a year ago that Baker might be done with the Jacksonville-based promotion, as there is reportedly a lot of frustration with her, and Khan might not call her up for shows despite still being signed. Meanwhile, there has been no official confirmation regarding her departure since the report came out, so she is still under contract with the promotion.

Tony Khan was asked about Britt Baker’s AEW status a few months back

Amid Britt Baker’s lengthy absence from TV, Tony Khan was asked about her status with AEW during an interview with Z100 New York in October 2025. Tony answered by stating that he would love to see Britt back:

“What a great star in AEW Dr. Britt Baker has been. She is still a fantastic wrestling star. She’s been away from AEW for a while, but still very much with us, and at some point, hopefully soon, I’d love to see Britt come back,” Khan said.

Only time will tell if the former AEW Women’s World Champion will ever return to Tony Khan’s promotion again.
