Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston revealed her two favorite teammates on Monday. The center named Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell as her best friends in basketball, leaving Fever fans hyped with the revelation.
Boston disclosed the information to Candace Parker during an episode of their podcast “Post Moves,” as she asked her co-host to “guess” her favorite teammates.
Thanks for the submission!
“I’m also going with two, can you guess who they are?” Boston asked.

Parker was unable to take a guess, prompting Boston to reveal her favorite teammates herself.
“Caitlin (Clark) and Kelsey (Mitchell), I love those girls,” Boston remarked. “Caitlin and Kelsey, those are my girls. I love those two so freaking much. And I love playing with them. It’s crazy, so those are my two.”
The clip quickly made its way to X, where fans latched onto the moment. Many celebrated the connection forming at the heart of Indiana’s roster.
Meanwhile, a few even began to dream of this core one day carrying the Fever to a WNBA title.
There’s a deeper reason that bond resonates in Indiana. All three were drafted by the Fever, giving fans a personal stake in their growth. And while Clark has emerged as the team’s biggest star, it was Mitchell and Boston who steadied the ship last season.
After Clark’s season ended, Mitchell became the engine of Indiana’s offense, averaging a career-high 20.2 points per game. Boston held the paint, and together they carried the Fever, earning All-Star selections and delivering the franchise’s first Commissioner’s Cup.
That continuity is now in question. With CBA talks stalled, Mitchell is already a free agent following the end of her one-year, $249,244 deal, leaving fans waiting to see whether Indiana can keep the core intact.
Aliyah Boston credits the Indiana Fever’s strong locker-room bond for making the 2025 season her favorite
The Indiana Fever had a tumultuous 2025 season, marked by numerous injuries. However, they also enjoyed enormous success, including a deep playoff run and a Commissioner’s Cup title.
During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Aliyah Boston reflected on the season, calling it her favorite campaign so far.
“I know when you look at it from a whole, it’s like, how could this have been so special, especially with all the injuries that we have?” Boston said. “But I think just the people that we had in the locker room … they made it so exciting to come in and work, even when we came off losses.”
Boston’s comments highlighted the close bond the Fever shared, which reflected on their on-court performances.
