Endfield, and find out how to use them

Sandleaf in Arknights: Endfield is one of those low-rarity materials that still matters a lot once players start getting serious about crafting and production. It’s a 1-star Plant item with a very specific purpose: it can be shredded into a powdered form that’s used for industrial grinding, and it can be gathered out in the wild or grown through AIC systems once the player is established.

Here’s where to find Sandleaf in Arknights: Endfield, what it looks like, and how to use it properly once it’s in the inventory.

Where to find Sandleaf in Arknights: Endfield

Sandleaf in Arknights: Endfield appears as a yellow plant with a shiny yellow glow, and can be found in Valley IV, specifically in the Power Plateau area. To access this area, players need to progress a story quest:

  • Quest: Eve of Battle
  • Key step: Talking to Perlica
  • Required Authority Level: 34

So if Power Plateau isn’t accessible yet, it’s not a bug or bad luck. It’s gated behind story progress and Authority Level. Sandleaf stands out once players know what they’re looking for, especially because the glow makes it easier to spot while moving through the plateau.

There are 17 Sandleaf available across Power Plateau, Valley IV. The cleanest way to collect them without zig-zagging too much is to follow a simple east-to-west route:

  • Start at the eastern side of Plateau Trunkway
  • Collect the first batch of 5 Sandleaf
  • Work west across the plateau
  • Finish at the United Parking Lot, where the last batch contains 3 Sandleaf

This route is efficient because it naturally pulls the player across the zone while grabbing everything along the way instead of bouncing between points.

How to use Sandleaf in Arknights: Endfield

Sandleaf’s main value comes from processing it into other materials. The item description makes its intended use clear: It’s a rough-leaf plant that can be gathered or cultivated, and when shredded it becomes a powdered preparation used for industrial grinding.
