Charles Oliveira needs to combat Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor on the identical evening, needs light-weight title shot

Charles Oliveira wasted no time in talking about his title ambitions despite getting slammed for his performance against Max Holloway.

The Brazilian defeated Holloway to become the new BMF champion. However, his grappling-heavy style didn’t sit well with many.

The new BMF champion spoke to the press and said the lightweight title is on his mind. Oliveira is a former champion and wants to face the winner of Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje, which takes place at the White House.

The White House card has six fights and is headlined by the lightweight title bout between Topuria, the champion, and Gaethje, the interim champion.

“I want that title, I want that lightweight belt…let’s wait for the fight at White House, that’s what I want to do.”

Oliveira also brought up McGregor and Diaz. The Brazilian, with the help of a translator, claimed that he would move up a weight class and take them on. Oliveira was extremely confident of winning and claimed he would fight them on the same night:

“You want to put them at 170? I don’t care, do it, it doesn’t matter. I’ll tell you what. If you want, it make it a grand prix. Put two fights, same day, see what happens

The Brazilian faced Gaethje at UFC 274 and beat the American. However, he lost to Ilia Topuria at UFC 317, which was for the vacant lightweight title.

Oliveira is one of the most accomplished stars in the UFC, and he seems ready to add another belt to his waist after winning the BMF gold.
