Black Ops Royale in Warzone is officially available as a part of the brand-new playlist. The game mode was introduced in the recent Season 2 Reloaded update as a twist on the usual Battle Royale genre. The game mode is inspired by the Blackout mode in Black Ops 4, where you jump into the map with nothing but your wingsuit and a sidearm.
This article will explain how you can play Black Ops Royale in Warzone and what you should expect.
Playing Black Ops Royale in Warzone: How to start and what to do
To start a match in the new Black Ops Royale in Warzone, all you need to do is go to the main screen and enter the ‘Play’ tab. Here, you should see the game mode as a part of the Season 2 Reloaded playlist. Simply click on it and wait until the match starts.
The game mode is available for Quads, and the intended map you’ll play on is Avalon. The massive landscape gives you a lot of opportunities and a variety of terrain to experience while trying to get the number one position.
There will be 24 squads fighting for survival. Black Ops Royale in Warzone is a different experience because you don’t get to use a pre-established loadout. Instead, you jump into the map with only your wingsuit and a pistol to help you remain alive.
You must then scavenge for weapons and upgrade them by finding Attachment Kits. Using various attachments will help improve your gear’s rarity. There will be no Buy Stations or cash involved. It’s all about finding the best gear in the environment and using it to your advantage.
If you get downed, you can be brought back via a Redeployment Token (found by looting) or a tower. Apart from this, other core aspects of Warzone and Black Ops 7 gameplay remain intact. There will still be a rapidly shrinking circle, and you can finish various activities such as Cradle Breaches, cracking Strongboxes, and more to unlock better gear.
Finally, for perks, players will get five swappable consumable boosts that can be used whenever necessary. This is the gist of Black Ops Royale in Warzone. It isn’t very different; however, it may confuse some players who haven’t heard about it before.
