3 Biggest Winners and a couple of Losers From AEW Revolution 2026

AEW hosted its first pay-per-view of the year, Revolution 2026, last night, and the event surpassed expectations, delivering an action-packed night for fans to remember. Tony Khan deserves praise for putting together what is being regarded as one of the Jacksonville-based promotion’s best PLEs in recent history.

Whether it was jaw-dropping returns or high-energy wrestling matches, Revolution 2026 delivered quality on all levels. The pay-per-view was headlined by the Texas Deathmatch between arch-rivals MJF and Hangman Page for the former’s AEW World Championship, which Friedman won. Meanwhile, the show also featured several title changes, including the Women’s Tag titles and the National Title.

As usual, some stars shone the brightest that night, while others couldn’t get the job done. With that in mind, let’s look at the three biggest winners and two losers from Revolution 2026.

#5. Winner: Maxwell Jacob Friedman

MJF has been sitting atop the All Elite Wrestling mountain ever since reclaiming the promotion’s top prize at Worlds End 2025. That night, he defeated former champ Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland, and Hangman Page in a 4-way to become the new AEW World Champion. The Salt of the Earth has surprisingly been a fighting champion since winning the belt and faced his toughest challenge last night at Revolution, facing nemesis Hangman Page in a Texas Deathmatch.

The Wolf of Wrestling not only managed to win a brutal match, but he also did it convincingly by choking out Page with a steel chain, just as the latter had defeated Jon Moxley back at All In 2025. Moreover, Friedman stood on the stretcher carrying Page out of the arena and celebrated over the Cowboys’ unconscious body.

#4. Loser: Willow Nightingale

Willow Nightingale’s night started early as she had to pull double duty at Revolution 2026. The Babe with the Power had to first defend her TBS champion on the Zero-Hour Show against Lena Cross before teaming up with her tag team partner, Harley Cameron, to defend their AEW Women’s Tag Team titles on the main show against Cross and Megan Bayne (Divine Dominion).

While Willow successfully defended her TBS title, she and Cameron (Babes of Wrath) were overwhelmed by their opponents in the tag team title match, which they lost in just about five minutes. Moreover, it was Nightingale who surprisingly took the pin in that match.

#3. & 2. Winners: Megan Bayne and Lena Cross

In February, AEW travelled to Australia for their Grand Slam show in Sydney. On that night, the promotion witnessed the return of one Lena Cross, this time as an official All Elite star. The Aussie star immediately joined forces with the MegaBad (Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne) on the night.

A few weeks after GrandSlam, the Babes of Wrath defended their women’s tag team titles against MegaBad. However, Ford was injured during that match, which was declared a no-contest. The unexpected injury, however, created the chance for Cross and Bayne to form a tag team (now called Divine Dominion), and within weeks of teaming up, the duo won their first titles, the AEW Women’s Tag Titles, at Revolution, and did so in dominant fashion.

#1. Loser: Hangman Adam Page was stretchered out of AEW Revolution

Over the years, Hangman Adam Page has been a main-event star and a pillar of the Jacksonville-based promotion. His latest chapter in the company saw him once again battle his long-time enemy MJF for the AEW World Championship. The duo decided to settle things in a Texas Deathmatch for the company’s top prize. This time, however, the stakes were even higher for Hangman in this match, as it was stipulated that Page would never challenge for the title again if he lost.

The end of the match saw the Cowboy lose to the Salt of the Earth, who choked out Page with a steel chain. He was then stretchered out of Crypto.com Arena, and given the consequences of his loss, he has no future in the World Title picture as it stands.
