Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 open challenge was seemingly answered this past week on WWE RAW. The Beast Incarnate initially seemed like he was about to destroy Seth Rollins. However, he was confronted and taken out by Oba Femi just moments later.
With The Ruler stomping on the former WWE Champion and pointing to the WrestleMania 42 sign, a showdown between the two behemoths is set to happen.
Thanks for the submission!
Lesnar seemingly confirmed how he feels about facing the former NXT Champion at The Show of Shows this year with a subtle gesture this past week on RAW.
Brock Lesnar showed he cares about putting Oba Femi over by asking him to put his foot on his chest
Replaying the segment, it was rather easy to catch the veteran asking Oba to step on him. The Ruler soaked in the moment by pointing to the WrestleMania 42 sign and getting the crowd riled up for the dream match.
Lesnar calling the spot in the ring was also a clear sign that this was not initially planned and was improvised, with the two going off-script.
Few WWE Superstars have dominated Lesnar the same way as Oba
The Beast Incarnate has faced some of WWE’s biggest monsters over the years, battling The Big Show, Kane, Braun Strowman, Omos, and The Undertaker. However, none of the other stars have been as dominant when going up against him.
As a result, it is a huge deal and a sign of trust from the company for Oba’s first major main roster rivalry to be against one of his dream opponents.
Brock Lesnar is improving the small things about the feud, and could put him over clean
Rumors surrounding The Beast’s retirement have been doing the rounds, with many claiming he will bid adieu to pro wrestling in 2026. If this is truly Brock Lesnar’s last year in WWE, then he is making it clear that he intends to pass the baton to Oba Femi as the company’s next big monster.
The major gesture this past week on RAW seems like a vote of trust, and he could put the Nigerian over clean at WrestleMania 42, the same way he did with Drew McIntyre in 2020.
