Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price shares trustworthy emotions about Sean Payton as curiosity rises amid J.Okay. Dobbins’ harm

Sean Payton is gearing up for his fourth season as the Denver Broncos coach. The one-time Super Bowl champion is fresh off guiding the Broncos to the NFC championship game, where they lost to eventual Super Bowl LX champions, the Seattle Seahawks.

Payton’s Broncos subsequently signed star running back J.K. Dobbins to a two-year, $16 million contract. However, Dobbins’ injury record has the media linking the Broncos to Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price.

Price joined Kay Adams on her show to discuss meeting Sean Payton.

“It was intense. I’m not gonna lie, but a couple of interviews like that were intense, the future 2026 NFL draft pick said.

“I mean, when you get the head coach and the GM and other positions go in there, it’s going to be intense, but you just have to show you know football and that you love football and everything to take care of.

“Well, there are a couple of moments and interviews where they try to get you, and you just have to stay the course, you know, stay calm, and I showed that I knew football.”

Price spent his entire four-year college football career with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He showcased his ability as a runner and pass catcher, amassing a stat line of 113 carries, 674 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 87 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in 12 games.

Price thrived as part of a running back by committee system at Notre Dame. He didn’t start a game in college but still put up decent numbers. That could help him thrive on Denver’s committee in 2026.

Sean Payton’s Denver Broncos are going all in

Sean Payton’s Denver Broncos have been one of the most active teams in the offseason. The Broncos are bringing back J.K. Dobbins and they just sent a haul for Jaylen Waddle. Waddle joins for a first, third and fourth round pick in this year’s draft in exchange for the speedy wideout and a fourth-round pick.

Waddle joins a pass-catching department that includes Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims Jr. The Broncos are stocking up on options for Bo Nix ahead of his third season as the starting quarterback.

Sean Payton is looking to expand the offensive scheme and ensure the team stays unpredictable entering 2026. Furthermore, the presence of JK Dobbins and potentially Jadarian Price could give the team versatility in the running back room.

Payton is searching for his first Super Bowl win since his New Orleans Saints days. The roster is shaping up and the veteran coach will fancy his team’s chances.
