Twitch star and ex-FaZe Clan member Rani “Stable Ronaldo” recently responded to Kick CEO Ed “Eddie” Craven after the latter accused the streamer of view-bottling to inflate his viewership statistics. For context, in the wake of Twitch’s “Plus Program,” creators on the site voiced concerns about their 70/30 revenue split being taken away. Rani was one of these voices who criticized Twitch’s methods.
After the Plus Program was announced in early February 2026, Stable Ronaldo went live and wondered why Twitch would take this route:
“I don’t know what the f**k Twitch is doing, but they are the absolute worst at giving revenue to creators… There should be no requirement for a 70/30…”
As a background, Twitch’s new program breaks creator revenue-sharing into two levels: Level 1, which is a 60/40 net revenue share, and Level 2, the 70/30 split. Streamers can rank up through these levels by earning consecutive streaming points.
After watching Stable Ronaldo’s criticisms about the Plus Program, Ed Craven claimed that the streamer fakes his viewership:
“Stable Ronaldo is a pretty big [view-botter]… That guy’s a crazy botter… Always FaZe guys bot 90% of their numbers…. I remember a few of them came over [to Kick] and we were like, (Laughs) ‘Now we see you.'”
Ed also claimed that Rani’s former FaZe teammate and close associate, Nick “Lacy,” only had about a “hundred real viewers.” Craven’s accusations against Stable Ronaldo and Lacy went viral, and soon after, Ronaldo hit back, suggesting that his streaming income could not be achieved if he view-botted.
“Would I viewbot my revenue too?”: Stable Ronaldo showcases his Twitch creator analytics in response to Ed Craven
Rani took Craven’s criticisms as compliments, and to back himself up, he quickly took his viewers through his Twitch analytics, which depicted an income of over $265,000 in January 2026 alone.
“If I were to viewbot, would I viewbot my revenue too? Wouldn’t I viewbot my revenue too?…”
He went on to challenge Ed Craven, asking him to look deeper:
“Ask streamers who you think that viewbot to show their revenue, show it…”
Further, he mentioned that Craven’s behaviour as a CEO was unprofessional:
“I think it is extremely crazy and unprofessional, just being honest with you. A CEO of a platform, right, that wants to succeed is going on a podcast saying this. Just want to point out, that’s why your platform is never going to be anything.”
Notably, Ronaldo also alleged that Kick offered him millions of dollars to transition:
“If I’m a big botter, Eddie, why did you and your team at Kick offer me millions and millions and millions of dollars?”
In other news, a video of Stable Ronaldo “recklessly driving” while seemingly showing a gun surfaced online.
