Marta Kostyuk shared several images from her relaxing Saint-Tropez vacation, including a bikini look. The Ukrainian tennis star has endured a topsy-turvy beginning to her 2026 season, which has included a final and a first-round loss.

World No. 26 Kostyuk boasts a strong Instagram following of over 450,000 fans, regularly sharing glimpses of her life both on and off the court. Most recently, she posted a carousel from her vacation in Saint-Tropez, featuring snapshots from various locations she visited, the food she enjoyed, and a series of selfies.

One of the slides (slide 2) also showed her relaxing in a sauna, dressed in a bikini. She captioned the post:

“Postcards from Saint-Tropez ❤️”

Kostyuk has been a regular feature within the Top 30 in the WTA, earning multiple runner-up finishes in this time period. Her latest such finish came in the first event of 2026 in Brisbane.

She powered past seeded players like Amanda Anisimova, Mirra Andreeva, and Jessica Pegula in straight sets before losing to the World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the final.

A week later, at the Australian Open, Kostyuk was expected to make another deep run, but she was ousted in the first round after a marathon match against Elsa Jacquemot.

After facing a 7-6(4), 6(4)-7, 6(7)-7 defeat against Elsa Jacquemot in the first round of the 2026 Australian Open, Marta Kostyuk shared that she was injured during the match. Moreover, she revealed that further testing made it clear that she had torn a ligament.

“Unfortunately, I injured my ankle during my match today, and after further tests, torn ligament was confirmed, which means I won’t be able to continue at the Australian Open in doubles with my amazing partner @gabrielaruse,” Marta Kostyuk wrote.

She shared that the Australian Open has always been one of her favorite tournaments, making the premature end to her campaign especially disappointing, though she acknowledged that such setbacks are part of the sport.

“Despite the setback, Brisbane was a great way to start the year, and I’m thankful for that momentum. Now it’s time to focus on recovery, and I’m excited to be back on court as soon as possible,” she added.

Such an injury usually takes close to two-three months to recover completely. Kostyuk might make her return during the clay season.
