The NASCAR Cup Series is headed to Martinsville Speedway for the seventh race of the 2026 season. This season witnessed stock car racing prodigy Connor Zilisch’s debut with the return of the Chase format, replacing the elimination-style playoff format.

Reflecting on that, NASCAR’s insights page shared a post highlighting the Cup Series drivers with the longest active top-ten streak in sports history. Currently, Team Penske driver Joey Logano leads the table at Martinsville Speedway.

Here’s the list of the Cup Series drivers with the longest active top-ten finish streak:


#1. Joey Logano (Martinsville Speedway)

Three-time Cup Series champion Joey Logano leads the table with 13 straight top-ten finishes at Martinsville Speedway. Logano began his streak in the fall Martinsville race of the 2019 season. He started the race from P10 in his #22 Ford Mustang and secured an eighth-place finish. Logano carried his streak well even after the introduction of the NextGen cars in the 2022 season.

Joey Logano came close to winning the race on multiple occasions since then. The closest he came was securing two runner-up positions in 2022 and 2023. However, he still hasn’t won any race at the 0.526-mile track since his only win in 2018.


#2. Brad Keselowski (Chicagoland Speedway)

RFK Racing driver Brad Keselowski secured second place on the longest top-ten finishes list. He began his streak at Chicagoland Speedway in 2011 while driving the #2 Dodge for Penske Racing. Since his first top-ten finish at the 1.5-mile track, Keselowski has won two races in 2012 while driving a Dodge and later in 2014 while driving a Ford.

Keselowski maintained his streak till the Chicagoland Speedway hosted its last NASCAR Cup Series race in 2019. However, the track will be making a comeback in the 2026 season. The NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway is scheduled for July 5, 2026.


#3. Denny Hamlin (Michigan International Speedway)

Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin ranks third for active top-ten finish streak. He has secured eight top-ten finishes at Michigan International Speedway. Hamlin began his streak in 2019 while driving his iconic #11 Toyota Camry XSE. Since then, the JGR driver has secured four podium finishes.

Additionally, Denny Hamlin won the 2025 Michigan International Speedway race and aims to recreate his win this year also. The 2026 FireKeepers Casino 400 is scheduled for June 7 at the 2-mile track. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime, MRN, SiriusXM, and HBO Max will broadcast the 200-lap race live at 3 p.m. ET.


#4. Kyle Larson (Martinsville Speedway)

Hendrick Motorsports driver and the 2025 Cup Series champion, Kyle Larson, is the fourth driver holding the longest top-ten finishing streak. Larson has secured seven top-ten finishes at Martinsville Speedway since he began his streak in October 2022 while driving for HMS.

Since then, the #5 Chevy Camaro ZL1 driver has secured only one win at the 0.526-mile track in 2023. Larson has secured three podium finishes in 2022 and 2024. Last season, the HMS driver clinched two fifth-place finishes in both spring and fall Martinsville Speedway races.
