How to unravel Spire of Frost puzzle in Crimson Desert

The Spire of Frost is located in an icy landscape in Crimson Desert that slowly freezes Kliff. Once you reach the spire, your goal is to enter it and light its seven stone lanterns while surviving extreme cold. You need Ice Resistance gear to avoid freezing in this area, so make sure you come prepared. Note that the place is also packed with Antumbra mobs.

In this guide, we will give you a step-by-step walkthrough on completing the Spire of Frost in Crimson Desert.

Crimson Desert: How to solve the Spire of Frost puzzle

Step 1

The first thing to do upon reaching the Spire of Frost is to enter the tower. Here’s how to do it:

  • Walk up to the spire’s entrance, and you will spot a frozen stone lantern, the first of seven.
  • Break the ice using Flame Strike, Blinding Flash (Concentrated Light), or any fire attack (fire arrows or fire-imbued weapons).
  • Once the ice has melted, light the stone lantern, and the door will open.

Tip: Upon entering the tower, check under the staircase for a treasure chest. Open it to get 1x Refined Palmer Pill and the Frozen Anguish two-handed sword.

Step 2

Climb up the stairs, and you will find the second frozen stone lantern. Break the ice on it and light it. Once done, move further upstairs.

Step 3

Go upstairs until you find an opening in the wall. Climb outside and go up the stairs.

You will find an Abyss Cell No. 1 stuck to the ice on the wall. Use the Axiom Force to take it off and seal it in your Kuku Pot. Go up the steps further to find the third stone lantern. Light it, then continue climbing the stairs.

Keep going upstairs until you find another opening in the wall. Enter it, and the fourth lantern is right by the opening. Break the ice on it and light it. There’s a second Abyss Cell No. 1 stuck in the ice right before the wall opening; grab it before moving forward.

Go further up to find the fifth lantern at the end of the path. Break the ice and light it.

The sixth stone lantern is located up the outdoor stairs. Climb the stairs and light the lantern as fast as you can, since the frost can freeze you very quickly and drain your health.

Step 7

Once you have reached the top of the stairs, re-enter the tower through the opening in the wall. Break the frozen lantern and light it. Upon lighting the last stone lantern, a small cutscene will play, concluding the Spire of Frost puzzle.

Rewards for completing the Spire of Frost puzzle

Once you have solved the puzzle, you will get the Frostcursed Plate Boots as a reward.
