Reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight MMA world champion ‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu of Mongolia believes the next challenger to his newly won throne remains unclear.
The 37-year-old out of Ulaanbaatar says he would like to see two of the division’s former champions battle it out for pole position, rather than being given a shot at the belt coming off a loss.
In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Baatarkhuu said that former bantamweight MMA titleholders ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade and ‘Hands of Stone’ John Lineker should face each other.

‘The Tormentor’ told the world’s largest martial arts organization:
“I am okay to fight whoever, but in my division, for example, [John] Lineker, he lost his last fight. And Fabricio also lost to me. It was a rear-naked choke. It wasn’t like a five-round decision. I would like to say that I’m ready to fight whoever deserves to fight me. But I think it is better for those two guys to face each other. Whoever wins can go against me, I’m ready to do that.”
Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu scored a historic world title victory at ONE Fight Night 38 in December 2025, where he defeated Fabricio Andrade by fourth-round submission to win the bantamweight MMA crown and become only the second Mongolian to win a ONE world title.

‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu believes John Lineker may come out victorious against Fabricio Andrade, and that they could meet in the Circle one day.
He told ONE Championship about the potential matchup:
“I have a lot of respect for Lineker. He has been a champion before, and he’s a really strong striker. Obviously, it’s going to be a war, like what happened between Fabricio Andrade and myself. It’s hard to tell who’s tougher, though. The only way we will know is if we face each other.”
