Jaida Parker & Kelani Jordan Forced to Stop Match for Multiple Seconds After Wardrobe Issue on WWE NXT

On the April 14 edition of WWE NXT, Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan were forced to stop their match for a few seconds. The duo also briefly broke character.

Jordan and Parker have been embroiled in a heated feud for weeks. Last night on NXT Revenge, Jaida and Kelani faced off again, and the two had, as expected, a back-and-forth contest.

They took the fight outside the ring, where they performed a double clothesline, causing them to land awkwardly. Eagle-eyed fans saw that Parker’s hair was caught in Jordan’s wrestling top, causing them to break character and stop their match for a few moments.

The duo fixed the issue before resuming their heated match. Kelani ultimately beat the 27-year-old female star clean. Now the sequence has gone viral on the internet.

WWE NXT Star Believes She Will Be at the Top of WWE Soon

In an interview on Busted Open in February, Jaida Parker, while speaking to veteran female star Natalya, expressed that despite her limited experience, she was on the same level as the other women on the black-and-silver brand. Parker claimed that she would be at the top of the promotion soon.

Here’s what she said:

“It’s not even a question. There’s no hesitation. Yes, because I have busted my a** day in and day out since I got to WWE. And yes, I came in with the least amount of experience out of all of them, but I’m still at the same level as them at the end of the day. So people can talk all they want to, but it’s about actions. And Jaida Parker ain’t got no choice but to show you my actions match my words. So yes, I’m ready, and I’ve been ready to hold and be a part of that NXT and be one of the top girls for NXT, because why not? Jaida Parker is Jaida Parker for a reason, and there’s nobody like her. And I’m gonna make sure she is undeniable at the end of the day.”

It will be interesting to see what’s next in the heated saga between Jaida and Kelani on the developmental brand in the coming weeks.
