Adrian Wooley will return to Louisville for a second season, he announced on Instagram on Saturday. Wooley began his collegiate season at Kennesaw State in 2024 before transferring to Pat Kelsey’s Cardinals in 2025.
When Wooley announced that he will return to Louisville for the 2026-27 season, fans had some wild reactions.

Before the 2025-26 season, Louisville coach Kelsey heaped praise on Wooley, saying the guard “has a grit and a toughness and a competitiveness about him that I love.”

Adrian Wooley recorded 8.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game at Louisville last season. He played in 35 games, starting 16.
Wooley helped Louisville qualify for the NCAA Tournament, as the team earned a No. 6 seed. The Cardinals opened their March Madness campaign with an 83-79 win over South Florida.
However, Louisville’s March Madness run ended with a 77-69 loss to Michigan State in the second round.
