Barcelona superstar Robert Lewandowski has responded when asked about his potential links to Serie A clubs this summer. The Polish icon has been heavily linked to a move away from the Catalan side, with his contract set to expire this June.
With Lewandowski in the final three months of his contract, there has been widespread speculation regarding his future. There are no reports of a renewal with Barcelona, while multiple sides across Europe, Saudi Arabia and the MLS have been attentive to the Pole’s situation. In recent weeks, Lewandowski has been strongly linked to Serie A sides Juventus and AC Milan, both of whom are reportedly eager to sign him.
Thanks for the submission!
In a recent interview at a charity stream hosted by Polish creator Latwogang, Barcelona superstar Robert Lewandowski was asked about his links to Serie A sides. He said (via GOAL):
“You know what… We will talk soon.”
With Poland not being a part of the 2026 World Cup, Robert Lewandowski can make a decision on his future during the summer transfer window. As of now, the focus is on winning LaLiga with Barcelona, with only six games left to seal the title.
With Lewandowski’s possible departure on the cards, Barcelona are all set to hunt the market for a new striker. The Catalans are also open to selling Ferran Torres for financial reasons, alongside his inconsistent display this season. Torres can also be included in a swap deal to bring in new signings as La Blaugrana will look to revamp the squad this summer.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta claims Robert Lewandowski deserves a new deal at the club

In an interview with RAC1, Barcelona president Joan Laporta mentioned that Robert Lewandowski deserves a renewal at the club. The Polish legend signed for the Catalans in the summer of 2022, recording 118 goals and 23 assists in 187 outings across competitions. Laporta addressed his future and said (via Barca Blaugranes):
“Lewandowski deserves a contract extension because he wanted to come here. If he wants to stay, understanding his role, we will offer him a renewal. With Ferran and Lewandowski, the position is covered, but if we have to sign someone, we’ll do it. Harry Kane would be the same age as Lewandowski was when he arrived.”
It remains to be seen where Lewandowski heads next season, with multiple options in hand. Reports suggest that a renewal at Camp Nou is also not completely ruled out, although the Polish veteran would have to take up a secondary role.
Meanwhile, Barca have also been linked to the likes of Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez as they look to sign a world-class striker this summer. However, any deal will depend on their complicated financial situation, as they also have other signings to complete.
