Jacob Fatu has expressed his interest in a match against Gunther. The two superstars are now on the same brand, with Fatu switching from SmackDown to RAW.

On the RAW after WrestleMania 42, Fatu confronted Roman Reigns and asked for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Backlash Premium Live Event. Reigns has confirmed he will give Fatu his answer on next week’s show.

Speaking on Club 520, Fatu recalled listening to Gunther’s entrance music and getting chills. The Samoan Werewolf hasn’t confirmed if a match between him and the former World Heavyweight Champion is on the card. Still, he is interested in throwing down with The Ring General.

“I ain’t gonna call him out, but when I was in my room eating my In-N-Out burger, I was scrolling through the phone and I thought about it and I was like, ‘Oh, sh*t. If me and Gunther was to go at it.’ I swear it never even crossed my mind. But when I’m sitting there I see his entrance, it’s when I heard his entrance. For some reason, it just brought me chills. I’m not saying anything gonna happen, but that is the answer. It is Gunther. Definitely Gunther.” said Fatu. [H/T: Fightful]

Jacob Fatu opened up on his entrance from WrestleMania 42

Jacob Fatu had a special entrance for his WrestleMania 42 match against Drew McIntyre. He recalled the WrestleMania XL clash between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes and how he got emotional over it.

Speaking on the post-WrestleMania 42 show, Jacob Fatu said:

“When they had WrestleMania 40, when Roman and Cody first did it, you know I am still a fan. I cried, it brought tears to my eyes, because I manifested having my own culture, my people, my polynesian people, to have me out there so I represented for Samoa, Tonga, Huwaii, Fiji, all of my polynesian people. It felt really good to have myculture and my heritage there.”

Jacob Fatu will appear on next week’s Monday Night RAW, where he will get an answer from Roman Reigns.
