Detroit Lions Undrafted Free Agents Signings Tracker After 2026 NFL Draft

The Detroit Lions made seven picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. The NFC powerhouse picked at least one player from each round aside from the third.

So, with the draft now in the rearview mirror, let’s examine the undrafted free agents that joined the Lions shortly after the draft.

The Lions are bringing in nine undrafted free agents. Note that there are two members of the Illinois Fighting Illini on the list.

Quarterback Luke Altmyer and guard Melvin Priesty will look to impress and potentially earn a roster spot. Also, the Lions seem focused on defense, with just three of the nine playing on the offensive side of the ball. They’re Altmyer, Priesty and Tennessee tight end Miles Kitselman.

The Lions made two picks on the first two days of this year’s draft. Offensive tackle Blake Miller was drafted with the 17th pick, while the Lions traded up to get Derrick Moore with the 44th overall pick.

The rest of the draft saw the Detroit Lions fill out their roster with promising defensive players and a fifth-round wide receiver. The later round picks and undrafted free agents will likely battle for the final roster spots entering the 2026 campaign.
